The Leadership Academy for Peak Performance teaches the leadership skills aspiring nurse managers and health leaders need to be successful. They learn skills that they have not have been exposed to in typical nursing education environments and, in our workshop settings, meet other nurse and healthcare managers to share ideas and develop best practices.
Nurse retention is an expectation and major responsibility of the nurse manager role, with both organizational and professional implications. Organizationally, a stable workforce reduces direct and indirect costs associated with turnover that may impact an organization’s ability to provide services.
Uniquely, we provide coaching support from a leadership expert for 12 months after our workshop to help you apply what you have learned.

The Leadership Academy for Peak Performance offers several workshop formats to meet your needs, including three- and five-day residential immersions, and on-site customized workshops. You interact with colleagues and experts in many leadership areas. Included in all workshops is twelve months of virtual on-the-job coaching to reinforce your new habits of effective leadership.The five-day format offers advanced leadership content as well as additional continuing education contact hours. Onsite workshops are held at the Longaberger Alumni House on the campus of The Ohio State University. Customized workshops are designed to meet your organization's needs at your location.
